Our Heritage

It started with a question.

In 1963, two pastors — Don Leetch and Dean Kerns — began meeting weekly to seek God’s calling. They asked, “If we only had 10 years left to live, would we keep doing what we’re doing?” By year’s end they had stepped away from their pulpits to obey whatever God told them to do.

From that obedience came Outreach Center Church. In 1979 the families and the church moved from Southern California to the land outside Siloam Springs known today as Oak Haven .
